4th Student Research Congress

Student Research Congress (SRC) is the annual event of SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy to bring together budding researchers on one platform. 4th SRC is being co-hosted by the University of Mumbai (Proposed). 

Our Industry Partners are ACG Worldwide and SciTech Centre. With a presence in 138 countries on six continents, ACG is now the world’s largest integrated supplier of solid dosage products and services – providing hard-shell capsules, film and foil barrier solutions, track and trace systems, and process, packing, and inspection equipment. SciTech Centre was established on 4th December, 1971 under section 25 of the Companies Act 1956 as a not-for-profit, Scientific Research and Development Organisation. SciTech’s research activity includes pharmaceutical engineering, advanced pharma dosage forms research, vision systems research, and dissemination of scientific information through Conferences, Study Groups, and awards and Patents.

4th SRC welcomes everyone with an interest in advancing the latest research impacting life sciences. Attendees represent budding researchers from undergraduate students, graduate students, and Ph. D. students in the field of life science. This multidisciplinary, scientific event features plenary lectures, workshops, academic competitions, and interactive sessions covering various aspects of research. 

The theme of this event is "Pharmaceutical innovations for better health". The students are invited to send abstracts for the oral presentations, poster presentations, and the innovative idea challenge competition and showcase their research work and innovative ideas. 

This congress promises to be a wonderful learning experience and we look forward to your participation.

About 3rd Student Research Congress

After the conduction of two successful Student Research Congress, SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy organized the 3rd Student Research Congress, co-hosted by University of Mumbai, Industry Partner - ACG Worldwide and Scitech Centre, from 28th September to 30th September 2022. The theme for the 3rd Student Research Congress was “Innovations in Healthcare”.


It was a 3-day event conducted in a hybrid mode, with oral presentations of PG and PhD category on day 1, followed by poster presentation of PG and UG students on day 2 and innovative idea challenge day 3. We had received over 780 registrations from 18 states and about 49 cities across India and about 60 colleges of pharmacy, science and technology disciplines. A total of 239 abstracts were received, of which 45% of them were selected based on the quality and innovations in health and science. Among these, around 10 abstracts were selected for Ph. D. and 7 for PG category for oral presentations, 55 abstracts for PG/PhD category posters presentation, 20 abstracts for posters in UG category and 8 abstracts were selected for Innovative Idea Challenge.

About 2nd Student Research Congress

After getting overwhelming response in 1st Student Research Congress, SVKMs Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy successfully conducted 2nd Student Research Congress from 28th September to 30th September 2021. The theme for the congress was Innovations in Better Health. The event was co-hosted by the University of Mumbai. This was an online event and all the events were live telecasted on official website for the SRC (www.bncp-src.com). The website of the event had views from across the globe, which took our event on a global level. Over 300 persons from 50 cities and 7 states gave their time and resources to attend and contribute. Different categories of events were Oral and Poster presentations for under graduate, post Graduate and Ph.D. students and Innovative Idea Challenge as open category. A total of 104 abstracts were received across the country for the three different categories of events. Among these, 8 abstracts were selected for oral presentations (for both Ph. D. and PG category), 37 abstracts for PG/PhD category posters presentation, 17 abstracts for UG posters in UG category and 11

abstracts were selected for Innovative Idea Challenge.


About 1st Student Research Congress

SVKMs Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy hosted the 1st Student Research Congress from 28th September to 30th September 2020. The theme for the congress was Innovations for Better Health. The event was co-hosted by the University of Mumbai in association with our industry partners SciTech Centre & ACG and institute partner Shri C.B. Patel Research Centre. The website of the event had views from across the globe, which took our event on a global level. More than 350 registrations were received for the conference from across the country. A total of 110 abstracts were received across the country for the three different categories of events. Among these, 9 abstracts each were selected for Oral Presentation (UG and PG/PhD category), 25 posters in UG and 26 posters in PG category were selected for Poster Presentation, and 15 abstracts were selected for the Innovative Idea Challenge.
